Our Interior Design Process

Our approach is tailored, adaptive, and deeply personal.

The process isn’t linear - stages don’t always happen one by one. Every client and every project is di:erent, so we adapt our method to suit you. Whether it's a bespoke door knocker, a kosher kitchen, or soundproofing for clients with hearing sensitivities, each requirement is carefully considered. Some clients may spend longer in one stage than another. That's entirely normal; we’re here to support you at your pace.

You’ll work with one or two designers throughout your journey, ensuring personal, consistent care from start to finish. The result is a relationship of trust, where communication flows easily and you feel truly heard.

1. Discovery & Consultation

Purpose: Understand you.

We begin by listening - really listening. This is where your vision begins to take shape. We aim to understand how you live, what you value, and how you want your space to feel. This stage starts building the relationship, where you feel safe expressing your wants, desires, and needs.

Includes: initial meetings, site visits, reviewing architectural plans, defining project scope, exploring practical needs and emotional goals.

2. Concept & Mood Development

Purpose: Define the aesthetic and emotional tone.

We translate your brief into a conceptual direction using mood boards, visual references, textures, and sample palettes. The inspiration might come from nature, materiality, light, or even memories - whatever feels right to you.

Includes: concept boards, colour direction, material suggestions, visual storytelling.

3. Spatial Planning & Interior Architecture

Purpose: Shape the space.

We develop floorplans, elevations, and layouts to create a space that flows beautifully and functions e:ortlessly. We tailor the way we present ideas to match how you best visualise - from 3D CAD walkthroughs to hand sketches.

This stage also includes liaising with planning authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and submitting planning applications where needed. We draw on years of experience to support a successful outcome.

Includes: space planning, joinery sketches, lighting plans, circulation flow, technical drawings, planning liaison.

4. Design Development & Materials Selection

Purpose: Refine the details.

We curate the specific finishes, materials, fittings, and design elements that bring the concept to life. We design and source bespoke items using our network of highly skilled craftspeople. Whether it's a custom light fitting or handcrafted storage, these elements bring your home to life. Every decision is made with longevity, harmony, and individuality in mind.

Includes: FF&E selections, material samples, finishes, bespoke elements, lighting design.

5. Tender & Contractor Coordination

Purpose: Translate design into action.

We coordinate with trusted contractors, suppliers, and specialists to price, plan, and prepare for the build or renovation. Our technical expertise ensures your design is both beautiful and buildable.

Includes: tender packages, contractor selection, construction timelines, trade coordination.

6. Procurement & Project Management

Purpose: Execute with precision.

We manage the ordering, production, and delivery of all selected items. We keep you informed throughout - especially when work begins on site. We oversee every detail - because even invisible one’s matter.

Includes: supplier coordination, lead time tracking, artisan liaison, full project oversight.

7. Installation & Styling

Purpose: Bring the vision to life.

When the space is ready, we oversee every element of installation, from major furnishings to the final flourish. Art is hung, lighting adjusted, final styling is done - your home becomes your sanctuary.

Includes: on-site presence, white-glove delivery, final styling days, thoughtful adjustments.

8. Aftercare & Evolution

Purpose: Ensure longevity and continued delight.

Design isn’t static. We check in post-completion to ensure everything feels right and works as intended. We continuously look after our clients and their homes - offering ongoing support and guidance. If any issues arise, we’re just a call away. Whether it’s a seasonal refresh, a small tweak, or the next phase of your home’s evolution, we’re here for you.

Includes: post-occupancy support, seasonal updates, long-term relationship building.
